Sea Cure maintains an ongoing partnership with Move For Hunger, allowing customers to donate unopened, non-perishable food during a move. These donations are delivered to local food pantries, reducing waste while helping families in need.
Sea Cure was honored as Move For Hunger’s New Jersey Mover of the Year (2022) and continues to support hunger-relief initiatives including:
Stamp Out Hunger (the U.S. Postal Service food drive)
Annual Thanksgiving turkey distribution runs, helping transport turkeys from Fulfill central food banks in Neptune to local food pantries for holiday
Transporting coordinated donations from donors to food or pantry distribution centers.
This program benefits families in need while also helping customers reduce excess items they no longer wish to pack and move.
Disaster Relief & Emergency Response
When disaster strikes, logistics matter. Sea Cure Moving’s commitment to emergency response began with a notable large-scale relief effort following Hurricane Hugo in September 1989, when the company organized a two-mile-long convoy transporting critical supplies, equipment and volunteers from Ocean County, New Jersey to the devastated coastal community of McClellanville, South Carolina.
That historic effort established a lasting approach to disaster response—focused on direct delivery, community coordination, and follow-through in areas where aid is often delayed or limited. (See more about Hurricane Hugo relief efforts here.)
The community that helped in efforts suffered the wrath of Superstorm Sandy in its own community, reinforcing that they understand the critical need of private response to crises especially to more rural communities.
Building on that legacy, Sea Cure continues to support emergency relief efforts through transportation and logistics when communities face urgent need. Most recently, the company assisted with shuttling relief supplies for communities impacted by Hurricane Helene in September 2024, helping move essential goods during active recovery operations.

Support for Local Arts & Community Theatre
Sea Cure Moving proudly supports the local arts by providing ongoing, in-kind logistical support to the Little Egg Harbor Theatre Company, a nonprofit community theatre organization that does not have a permanent performance space within the community.
For each production, Sea Cure provides storage space free of charge for staging, props, and furniture, along with delivery and pickup services before and after every show. This behind-the-scenes support removes a major logistical barrier for volunteer-driven theatre and helps ensure that live performances remain accessible to residents of Little Egg Harbor and surrounding communities.

By handling the logistics, Sea Cure allows performers, directors, and volunteers to focus on creativity, education, and community connection—not fundraising- helping keep the arts active and visible in the region.
Families, Youth & Community Programs
Sea Cure proudly supports organizations that strengthen families and uplift children, such as Family Promise, Give Kids the World, local cancer fundraisers and family-support initiatives. These range from furniture donations to families in need, gift baskets, or monetary donations to help a worthy cause. We are drawn to causes that provide stability, care, and hope for families facing hardship.
Local Schools, Sports & the Arts
We regularly support youth sports teams, athletic programs, and community organizations that foster teamwork, confidence, and pride. Sea Cure also believes strongly in the importance of arts and culture as cornerstones of a healthy community.
